It took 10 days for me to get a response from them recently.Hi all,
It has been 5 business days(I raised webform last saturday) to update my phone number. Can it take that long, any experience or should I call them?
Is this normal? Enquiring on behalf of a distant relative. CEC application.hi - R10 check is "the parameters for theIRCC to process the application". If you have an existing UCI you know R10 has happened if your temp UCI number changes to your actual UCI number. It's also around the same time you get BIL (and if you have no medical issues you usually get your medical passed then too). For me that was about 2.5 months after AOR, because of the COVID delays at the time.
Eligibility review is when they look at the job history, job offers, references, education, language etc and confirm your CRS score.
wow, even bars are open but they can't work in full capacity or they cant even take biometrics in a normal way. And no guarantee of completion time due to covid. I am just wondering do we have any kind of right to expect finalization of our applications or they may even make us wait as long as they want?It took 10 days for me to get a response from them recently.
Thank you for the details , I am still not clear but any ways . Below is my status and want to understand what that means.hi - R10 check is "the parameters for theIRCC to process the application". Yeah I don't think there is any fixed deadline for them to finialize Permanent residence application. 6 month mark is just the average processing time. It is scary to see some application taking 1-2 years to get a result. All we can do is hope.wow, even bars are open but they can't work in full capacity or they cant even take biometrics in a normal way. And no guarantee of completion time due to covid. i have no idea what is "normal" anymore but the progress bar doesn't mean anything other than a clock of 6 months, it's not related to the actual status of your application. Is this normal? Enquiring on behalf of a distant relative. CEC application.
AOR - May 5, 2020
Medical passed and BIL received - June 26, 2020.
Does this mean R10 is complete?
The progress bar says 70% application complete and estimated completion date as November 2020.
Due to Covid-19, is it expected that it may take 1 year too?
Which city?AOR - May 5
Medical Passed - June 26
Service Canada Call - Sep 21
Biometrics Schedule - Sep 22
I don't know which stage my application now as it states Nov 5 would be make 6 month mark so, I am assuming it's on a normal phase. I will prolly call for update past that date. Good luck to all of us!
It will be good if you go for ECA as a backup plan in case there are delays. My ECA will expire by Jan 16, 2021. My AOR is May 16 CEC Inland. Considering that we cannot predict when biometrics will happen, should I go for another ECA or is the date locked in at AOR. Anyone knows, pls respond. Thanks
