Yes I got it a week later in my email. Not sure if things are a bit slower now due to more covid related shutdowns? Also there likely will be a couple days further delay due to Easter public holidays. If you have a representative on file, the COPR email could have gone to them.

I've no idea on the main question but just FYI that mail forwarding does not forward all types of mail. It doesn't redirect most things from the government. If you go into a post office and ask, they'll tell you specifically the sources of mail that won't be redirected. A friend learned this...

my COPR says it's good for a year, there's nothing to do to accept it per se, you have to apply for PR card within that year. but if you leave canada before getting PR card, you need a PRTD to come back, and you have to apply for it from outside canada and wait. no telling how long it would take...

they seem to have one listed, and I was concerned when I got final decision because mine had an expiry two weeks later and etobicoke can be slow. but when i got the landing confirmation, the actual COPR, the letter did say that they know getting the PR card actions done can be slow during COVID...

I just did this last week, they renewed the same number as before. You will get a new number after PR though, without the 9 ;)

I was equally frustrated when they said they're working on august apps in January. Then they jumped back to may in March and seem to be working towards august. I hope in a few weeks they'll jump back to Jan 2020. Seems a bizarre way to work the backlog but at least we can say they're definitely...

I just got the COPR email today just now. I got final decision approval on march 19th, and got the COPR email and PR Card photo instructions from etobicoke VO today. Did not expect it to come so soon, I think I got lucky. But hopefully not and that the rest of you from approvals the same week...

oh wow that's great! I am hoping they'll add that information letter for me soon. I don't need to worry about how long PR Card takes (thankfully) but I would like to get the landed COPR in-hand before my medical expires in case they start playing silly games.
