That's Normal. It will remain same till the Policeman verify everything and status is sent back to RPO.
But for me police verification done and got update from psk through grivience saying my police verification is clear and contact respective embassy, but still this status is showing “PCC application is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate.
So looks like the same status is before police verification complete and after police verification completed. In old website my status changed to pcc needs to be collected from RPO at Aug 26th after that no update and tracking not working in old website

Seeing posts like new rule came like spouse name should be there in passport if married, but my police verification was done already. Anybody knows will this new rule impact for who’s police verification done already and pcc not released yet?

if you're applying PR with your wife then definitely need to do that, if you have applied on your own and later sponsor your wife then don't show that you're married, then you don't need to do anything.

Applying PR with wife, but psk said police verification clear on aug 25th and just final consulate review pending. This rule is new which is released aug end. Are you saying new rule will impact old application as well if they dint release pcc yet?

Does your passport has spouse name filled?
Luckily yes. Never thought it would be a requirement.

https://www.cgitoronto.gov.in/page/police-clearance/

Applicant must note that if while applying for PCC, he/she is providing details in PCC application which are different than details available in his/her passport (such as name, place of birth, any discrepancy in parents’ name, change in marital status, addition/deletion of spouse name), the applicant should instead of applying for PCC, should first apply for reissue of passport with changed/current particulars. After the reissue of passport with changed particulars, the PCC application must be submitted at the BLS.

but this page is recently updated, when I submitted pcc these information is not there in that page, I started the process at July 2nd, and it’s sent to consulate at Aug 10 police verification done on Aug 25th after that they updated the website. I am wondering how can they force the new rule for old applications. It looks like I have to plan 6 months prior to get the pcc

Is everyone seeing same status "PCC application is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate." Or is different for different applicants?
Hi, I'm seeing the same status, received police verification initiation email and my taluka police station still have not received anything yet.

Hi everyone
I have applied to Indian pcc through bls in the month of June2020, as of now I did not get any update on my pcc certificate.police verification has completed in india but consulate has sent correct information of mine with wrong photograph, I have asked police in india they said we already submitted the document mentioned like (correct information with wrong photo of the person) , I have been waiting no response from consulate , I wrote emails to them, no acknowledgement from them, I have contacted BLS , they are saying it is under consulate contact consulate only , no phone & email, (NO WALKIN due to covid) response from indian consulate, i have to submit pcc document to Canada immigration as soon as possible for my PR, please suggest how to contact indian consulate or give a suggestion to resolve my issue.
Thanks in advance
