my visa office was Ottawa, lets see what they say..They took about 5-7 days for the generic response - "Since your file is located at the Canadian visa office in New Delhi, India, we invite you to contact them too"

oh ok! I was thinking of mailing them too, i sent in my ready to travel webform end August itself n got the generic response mail sayin it has been forwarded to local VO. NDVO really needs to start working at half capacity or 30% capacity or something but atleast start. all other offices r working yaar, this is mentally frustrating! They took about 5-7 days for the generic response - "Since your file is located at the Canadian visa office in New Delhi, India, we invite you to contact them too"
They are least bothered with our problems unfortunately. They just want to minimise and delay the influx of ppl to their country. And putting a lot of expired copr holders on hold seem to them the only possible option as of now to do that as they can't stop their PR and citizens...The most unlucky ppl are with copr close to expiry date ready with bags packed tickets in hand and the lockdown .... causing all plans to fail...Seriously! and knowing that we are sitting without a job and eating into savings just waiting to hear good news and fly.
I did mail them. They told to generate web form of ready to travel with all supporting docs and wait for ircc to reply.... They have written not to make any travel plans untill we receive any instruction.https://www.international.gc.ca/country-pays/india-inde/new_delhi.aspx?lang=eng
I came across this email address delhiimmigration@international.gc.ca
Found it at the bottom of the page on the link above, has anyone ever mailed them directly?

+18882422100Hi
Could you please share the number you called to get the information?
What are the things they may ask, or I should keep handy for their information?
What would be the ideal time to give them a call, I have heard there is a long waiting before an agent speaks to us.
Thanks
Thanks!+18882422100

There are many other threads where this topic has been discussed in depth. If you get married after ITA and before submission then your points will be recalculated. Points gained will be if you submit ECA and language results of your spouse along with yours. If you can manage to collect these documents in addition to marriage documents within two months time then report changes in your family composition and then submit the application. If you get married after AOR then there will be no changes in your CRS points calculation and you just need to report changes in your family composition.Hello everyone!!!!
I am new to this Canada forum.
I really need your help guys!!!
I got my invitation to apply for Canada 1 month back as a single applicant!!!
Now I am planning for marriage!!!
My combined score with my to be spouse will be 8 points more than the round of invitation in which I got invitation!!!!
Do I have decline the invitation?
Or
Can I add my spouse directly into my profile by informing IRCC?
Do I have to fill the form IMM008
IMM5406
IMM5669
Can anyone guide me?
It's been five months since we received this email. This matter of time is in fact a matter of concern here.Hi all
I am not able to travel and sent multiple inability to travel emails to Ottawa. They were silent for a while and then I received this e-mail
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
The Government of Canada is closely monitoring the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and any impacts on IRCC clients.
You are outside Canada and your permanent residence application has been approved, but you can't travel to Canada before your documents expire, or your documents have already expired? Rest assured that you do not need to contact us until you are ready to travel to Canada.
When you are ready to travel to Canada, we invite you to follow the instructions on our website to notify us. We will then tell you what to do next.
For more information on the situation and to receive up-to-date information, we invite you to verify our website.
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.
I suggest us to relax a bit. Everybody will receive extensions. It just a time matter.
