Just wondering if I don't lose my PR status is there a need to renew my PR card or can I just let it expire and wait however long for my citizenship application to go through? I guess I would not be able to travel outside of Canada without it that would be the only thing right?This has been mentioned NUMEROUS times on the forum but I will mention it again.
Your PR status and PR card are completely different entities. Your PR card expiry has no bearing on your PR status and needless to say, no bearing on your SIN, work in Canada or your Citizenship application.
