Finally made a decision to request a file transfer. Application submitted on May 17 at ServiceCan. been in under review for over 1 month. Called in today to check status again since my travel date is Aug 30. Agent was kind and willing to help. She submitted a transfer request to my local office...

for your reference, I submitted application at ServiceCanada on May 17, no passport yet. Last time I called to check status, was told it's under review. No ETA.

Finally got through the 6868 number after hundreds of attempts. called at 315pm ET, 120+ people ahead of me, waited 30+minutes and got connected to an agent. I applied on May 17 at a Service Canada centre (not passport office), the receipt has an estimate mail out date of June 18. The agent...

you still have to be in Canada physically unfortunately, even the ceremony is virtual. the IRCC clerk will confirm your physical presence before allowing you into the oath main room on zoom.

update. certificate received on May 16. stamp shows mailing date is May 12.

finally done. Oath on May 4 with Niagara IRCC, certificate received on May 16. Sept 2020 Ottawa applicant.

final update. Oath completed with Niagara IRCC and online status changed to "closed"on May 4, Certificate received on May 16.

Any one received citizenship certificate recently after oath with Niagara Office? I did my oath on May 4, tracker shows application closed on the same day.

Citizenship test was from Ottawa office and DM was ~2 weeks after test completed. My guess is my file was with Ottawa office up until DM then got transferred to Niagara Falls for oath scheduling...

Can't remember exact time, should be mid-February 2022

I'm an Ottawa Sept 2020 applicant. Ottawa office did all the checks physical, background, etc and citizenship test. Then I received an oath invite on Apr 20 for May 4, the oath invite was from Niagara Falls office. I guess the Niagara Falls Office is handling some Ottawa files.

Update. Just received oath invitation for an oath on May 4. No update on the online tracking tool. The invitation is from Niagara Falls IRCC office however I'm an Ottawa applicant and citizenship test was from Ottawa office..

Update - Per online tracking, all status changed to "completed" on Feb 16 except for citizenship ceremony still "Not started". ECAS shows Decision Made. My office is Ottawa.
