Doing PNP/CEC and All program draws depend on so much more than just international flights. I think IRCC is not working on a full capacity, and I assume processing FSWs is more demanding than CECs.
I also think they are doing this new method of alternating draws as doing only all programs would create a heavy backlog of people that process is stopped by different factors depending per country, like VFS closed for biometrics.
This method might not be ideal, but it is so much better than March-June with not a single FSW draw, or countries like Australia and New Zealand suspending their immigration programs until further notice.

By my calculation, 1452 people joined 471 - 480... now I have not added the 481s and above... but I can tell you that the number of people that entered the pool this 2 weeks is more than 2000... it’s not a good thing.. let’s hope most of them are CEC.. and will leave tomorrow..

August 4th pool between this range is 5065 and from todays draw it is 4302. How come it will be 1452? Please let me know.

This is the fairest and most sensible comment I’ve read in this thread so far.

They might continue with this pattern even after all the pandemic related things are over and everything is open.

not until the CRS score is normal, trends show it drops in all program and goes up in cec

most of people entering pool are cec, first because IELTS centers reopen, and second it's September and lots of work and study permits are due this month, it's time to renew status or switch to tourist visa

You have to first figure out how many people were left in the pool after the last draw... there was about 2850 between 471 - 480 remaining after the last all program... today it’s 4302...

I dont think that there is no chance because even I'm in the same boat. If u see the trend the addition in the pool greater than 470 has reduced considerably and will continue for the next 2 months atleast because the IELTS, ECA processes will take a lot of time to come to normal speed. If they decide to start only fsw draws by September i think the score should drop below 470.

I suspect alternating all-program and PNP/CEC draws will be the new pattern for some time, which seems like a fair balance.
