Despite the two stage process some student are getting full approval.

I understand what you are going through,I am myself frustrated while sighing my online application knowing I won't get any update.God knows what will happen.

The webinar did not say that, it said the aim is to get all study permit applications past stage 1 of the 2 stage process by 15 September.

That is bad news, very bad news.

6 months passed with no update

Hi!

I applied from South America in December 2019 SP + Spouse OWP.. complete app as Biometrics We’re sent and approved in Dec 2020 and the final step medical exams were approved in Feb 2020.... no more actions required from us since then... I had to start classes last May 2020 but I had to defer for Sep 2020.... I’m still waiting but no updates unfortunately.... total months since my App was sent 8 months (dec19 till aug20)...

Nope. Once I get my LOA for next year then I will inform them with those documents.

What if they assess your application in the middle and find out your previous LOA is not valid anymore? I think you have to hurry up.
