Hello everybody! Question the file of my mom supposed to be transfer to Mexico before March and now I checked the status and changed to application received From in process, what does it means?
That means the Mexico LVO might have received the transferred application and it will change soon to IN PROCESS.

They haven’t been receiving passports because of covid.
Actually many people included other categories immigration applicants sent their pp to Ottawa offices from March in this forum. After PP sent to Ottawa office, many applicants inland got email Corp and applicants in USA got paper corp.

every time call IRCC i get a diffrent answer as to if parents can board the plane copr received after march 18

one said they will be allowed entry if they say they are visiting and give the proof of child(me) being a pr or citizen and then once they are in the country you can call them and ask them to finish the landing process.

This is all so confusing and a mess

does anyone have any insight on this?

question if someone can explain: application processing office is CPC-Mississauga. If we get passport submission request in coming day/weeks/months then where are we supposed to send the passport??

Yes but then they stopped and went to virtual landings for inland PR applicants.

Because office is Cpc-m, they will send the corp directly if applicants inland.

Hi guys my mother is here on super visa for over an year and an applicant for PR under PGP 2019. Now her initial medical insurance coverage has expired after 1 year.
Is it mandatory that she needs to renew insurance for another 1 year or 6 months is also doable?
Pls. comment.

Thanks

It is not mandatory in the sense that there is no fine or penalty of not keeping the insurance. However, there is an implied understanding that one has to have the insurance in case one needs it. I have heard stories where people have had to sell their houses to pay for medical bills for visiting parents.

A friend of mine who did a recent landing at YVR said she filled out the ArriveCAN form online 48hr before landing. She got a reference code to print and brought it along. That helped her reduce the waiting time quite a bit. She said that she also filled out Traveller contact information form.

If your parents aren’t carrying a mobile phone with ArriveCAN app, this is an alternative. I thought it’s good information to share here.

Yes it is one of the requirements of a supervisa.
