They just announced of the opening but are not operating at the moment. It's a management level announcement and staff is not back at work yet. Give it few days and it'll be sorted. But I am skeptical about Aug 3rd appointments, unless otherwise they prove me wrong.

Just wanted to update that they are making new accounts and booking appointments. I know a person who made account today and booked it. Confirmation email was not appearing in inbox and after few minutes a re-login to email resolved the issue.
Yes i got appointment on 5th August and created my account just 15 mins ago.
Both are diffeent rhis appointment email is just for vsf it dose not matter with ircc.donot worry
Can biometrics be done upfront as well, like we get ppc and medical or do we need a visa application number/letter for it?

Better to submit and wait for BIL which usually arrives next day or with in first week of application.
we, who applied in JAN haven't gotten any response. You guys really think you will able to get a visa before fall. if you haven't applied for a visa please don't apply. you guys have no idea the amount of frustration we guys are going through.
