I have submitted webform but can't get confirmation email. I have to wait for that or get appointment by online method. I can't login ,they site is giving error.

you should get a confirmation email with pdf copy of appointment which is password protected. password will be first 4 letters of your name and DOB in dd/mm/yyyy format. all lowercase

They are not accepting new applications nor they are making new accounts, I made my account last month.

ohhh really that i did not know. My friend also made an account i guess in beginning of July or end of June so may be that is why he is able to book an appointment

but i guess if someone has an account they can book an appointment as in options it ask appointment for how many applicants? so Usman may be you need to find someone who has an account and try that way. I could be wrong but that might be the option

It might not work.. Same thing happened with IOM upfront medicals in the beginning of July.. It seemed that online booking was working but in fact it was not.. IOM only took/confirmed appointment via Email/Phone. It could be the case with VFS Global as well, since there'll be huge number of people needing Biometrics done, they might just end up taking appointments via Phone/Email/Web chat only instead of automated booking system. And since they just announced the re-opening, it's possible it'll take 2 3 days for them to figure out how to deal with this everything. It took a week for IOM to get things together.. They announced June 29th of re-opening on July 3rd, which in fact opened and operated from July 11th. Make sure to leave a message or call once or twice a day.. Keep in mind that there'll be Eid-ul-Adha holidays as well so the opening days might get pushed a week ahead since they might not be able to prepare centers for Covid19.

Online booking did work for my friend today and he was able to get his appointment for August 4th but he made his account almost a month ago. he got confirmation email and a letter for appointment for his biometric

Same here I made my account a month ago now I've seen in a Facebook group that no new accounts are being made and neither they are accepting new appointments with phone or email only with vfs account if it's made before today. I've also received the confirmation of my appointment on August 3rd. So wait up guys maybe they start accepting new accounts after a week.

Same thing for IOM.. I booked appointment for a family member, received confirmation, it stayed in the account for about a week. But when called IOM Lahore to double check, they denied and re-booked manually. They told on the phone that they are not taking appointments that are booked online (it's a system glitch).

Just make sure to call/confirm or talk to a representative to make sure its definitely booked!

I prefer not to have someone personal information especially when I am not sure if it is going to work or not. Check with someone who u know personally

Yep.. It'll take few days to set up everything. They just announced of the opening but are not operating at the moment. It's a management level announcement and staff is not back at work yet. Give it few days and it'll be sorted. But I am skeptical about Aug 3rd appointments, unless otherwise they prove me wrong.

Oh just keep in mind, Hajj/Eid-ul-Adha holidays are just around the corner, so it's less likely staff is coming back to join and set up everything for Aug 3rd. What I assume is, staff is going to return on 3rd and it'll take few days to setup everything for them and then they start taking applications (same day as well if slots available).
