Hello everyone. How are you all doing? Please I have a question regarding the courier service offered by Warsaw VAC office in Poland.

We r still "In process", PA eligibility and background check still in process. We recently received AOR2 on June the 3rd. We r waiting on DM.

So, Do we need to buy the courier envelope to return our DM right now or we'll wait till they ask us to?

We saw this on VFS global website.
They said "Collection of decision envelopes in-person at the VAC is not permitted until further notice."
I really don't know how this works. Thanks
Hi, I believe there’s no need to buy it right now. You’ll have to wait for a Passport Request Letter from the Warsaw VO and then you can contact the Warsaw VAC (VFS Global).

Team: I have a question, maybe discussed before- So I received my COPR in Jan 2020. It expires Dec 2020 (date of my medical exam in 2019). We currently live in the US, but are planning a trip to Canada to visit family. (by rules, our trip is allowed, due to citizenship of family members and our reason for travel). Question: Can I "validate" my COPR when we cross the land border from US to Canada in August? We plan to initiate our move to Canada during this visit, BUT we will return to the US before finalizing all our move plans. Can I validate, even though I'll return to the US after about 4 weeks? Thoughts or experiences appreciated! Covid sucks.

My understanding is yes, assuming your reason to visit is valid and you have self-isolation plans in place.

Subject to change, of course.

Right, we have a valid reason to enter Canada & have a complete isolation plan. I am wondering how one arranges the COPR validation- I know which day we arrive at the border (by car). Do we call in advance? How long does validation at the port of entry take?

You do not need to make advanced arrangements for the border, what you are referring to is called doing your "Landing", when you first enter Canada with the intent of moving here. I doubt the border will be very busy with the travel restrictions but with no lines you are looking at 1/2-1 hour for the actual processing if all the documents are in order. Ours took 20 minutes in YVR with no line up.

Obviously up to you but IMO I think you are better to do your "Landing" when you do enter rather than saying you are coming to visit. Unless they specifically ask I would not mention you are only staying a month initially, pack your car full of stuff so it looks like you are moving. Be sure to have a list of your "goods to follow" at a later time, that would be other possessions of yours in the US that you will pick up or get shipped here at a later date.

You will be doing a lot of isolating if you are coming here twice in the next 6 months. I imagine you will also have to isolate when you go back to the states. Quite likely again when you come back here the 2nd time, I don't think the border restrictions are going to be lifted any time soon.

Good luck.

Good input- thank you for relaying the details of your landing. We basically ‘have’ to do the upcoming trip, so it is a matter of validating the COPR on this crossing or not. We are fortunate to have very good isolation plans on both sides of it. (Canada & US). The only issue is our plans for the permanent return are fluid. Really appreciate the input so we can work our all the details!

Can someone explain what does isolation plans mean? What should I do, where should I be? My plans for example is just sitting in the basement, not going outside (well it’s obvious). So is there anything else?

You must and should use webform to inform if you change you address, phone or you wife. If you file receive or correspondence by email. You don’t need to worry about any updates. Any change address or phone should use webform .

Thank you , i have chosen the communication between ircc and me to be via email. When i login to Ecase i can see that i can update my address. Just wondering Why should it be via web form ? Have you done this before
