Just got a letter in my mail. MIFI requested missing documents: approval by IRCC as an eligible sponsor and proof of address. I was 100% sure I sent them, so I called MIFI. They said they want an update of both since too much time passed.
Requested the same letter from IRCC but with recent date on it.
Well at least something is moving. Applied to CSQ at the end of January 2020.

They are requesting proof of eligibility as a sponsor? Wouldn't that mean DM for sponsor? Or is it something else?
How does that makes sense, so it would mean that they would ask everyone that sent their request back in November and December and that do not have a decision made for their CSQ to send that letter again?

Exactly. It doesn't make any sense. They are the one taking forever give us the CSQ. How is it our fault?! I have roughly the same timeline as you do. I called MIDI today, and the agent sounded annoyed and just told me it is still in progress.Still nothing

Me I called two days ago and was told by first agent that its still processing (annoyed) and told him I don't understand a few people having the same time line as me already got their csq approved and some even got it in their mail box. He said listen sir if you want to talk about other people's file we can close your file and talk about the rest of the world. I was like geez can you be a little less polite. Asked to speak with his supervisor but didn't want and I didn't catch his name. Called a second time. The lady was shocked that I knew my process start date was April 1st and say no no we are not supposed to tell you any of these informations we don't know what these update means. She went further by saying that yeah they are waiting for answers from other departments but it doesn't mean they are actually working on your case. I was speechless and wanted to vomit. Now I am not sure if I want to call them and just go to my mail box everyday in hopes that I find the CSQ paper one day.
I think our call might get picked up by the same dude. I didn’t catch his name either, but he’s extremely unhelpful, sarcastic, and inpatient. Wish I could file a complaint against him.
