My permanent residency file will be submitted on 12th july 2020 but my pgwp expires on 20th august ... so i will be staying under applied status.
What is the processing times currently.?
Can i work during applied status period.?
Should i apply for work permit extension?
Will leaving work at that time effect my immigration as file says ... still employed at same employer..??

Will you also be applying for a bridging open work permit? You don't get to continue working just because you submitted the PR application.

Thanks!
So i will have to apply for open work permit... i get that but what if i dont Intend to work during that period of time... will that impact my application.?
Will i be status illegal or ineligible for anything else during that time...
the fact is my immigration consultant asked for 700+ applicable fees for this work permit and i kinda dont want to spend that money if possible... only thing is that i dont want my file to be vulnerable due to me being at applied status and not working at same employer(or anywhere if that matters)

I think you mean 'implied status'.

Can't you apply for a bridging open work permit by yourself? Or you have no access to your profile/documents to do such things?

Maybe you should seek guidance on this.

Even if you don´t plan to work you need to maintain a legal status in Canada if you plan to stay here while waiting for PR, a work permit or visitor visa for example...

Hello,
You really don’t need any agent for applying BOWP.
It is very easy and hassle free process.
Go to your CIC account and apply yourself.
I will help you with the application.
And even if you don’t have access to the account by which you applied to PR, you can always apply for BOWP from a different account.
All what matters is you give right information because that’s all what they need.
PM me if you need any help.
Thank you

Thanks all, i tried doing it myself and there are a few questions that i had....
1) I have a job letter from my employer(for PR purpose) but the videos i found almost always answer no in the questionnaire
2) the 5710e has the initial questions of the purpose of applying that says for job at same employer.... job at new employer..... resume status as worker... and a forth one which I definitely know is inapplicable..... can you help me choose the right options...
3) which document is preferred for NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT i chose my D/L
4) Should i mention my employer in the form when it asks most probable employer question
5) it has a question towards the end that asks have you ever applied to enter or stay in canada ... video said no but i thought i have applied for Study visa the WP and now for PR how can it be no
6) what should i write at the optional section’s client information letter

1) For BOWP you don’t need to show your job offer letter. Your BoWP application will be processed once they check that your PR application documents are complete(not missing anything)
2) You should select same employer
3) No need(if you’re Indian) Indian national don’t have any National ID.
4)If you’re asking about section
Details of intended work in Canada
No need to mention anything just select Open work permit
But if it is about Employment Section, then write your employer details.
5)Just write your Study and Work permit, Month&Year.
6) As it says Optional. If you think any info provided wasn’t sufficient and you want to add more explanation for missing documents. Don’t just provide any extra documents if it is not asked, as it will only make your file more complicated.

On imm5710e there is 2nd question on page 6 and third part... it says have you previously applied to enter or remain in canada.... apparently i have applied for study permit(to enter) and workpermit(to remain in canada) but the video i saw on YT says no here even when that file is of indian guy staying temporarily in Canada(same condition is mine).. what should i do yes or no

I have left section(Details of my prospective employer) completely empty (no name,no location,no title,no duties,no start date and no end date) but i kind of dont feel confident enough to submit as is.... also in my PR file i have attached letter from my employer that this guy is currently working with us(not a job letter) so i said no in the questions part where it asks for job letter

As I mentioned before
Don’t upload any unnecessary document
This will just make your case more complicated
They can see in the system what all you applied for
So don’t upload that document.
Thank you
