Okay guys I got my GSCM notes.

I am 100% I know how to read them, so if anyone has any idea what to look for, I would much appreciate it.

But it seems all assessments are passed, although there was no note on security. My webforms state that there security verifications are valid so not sure what to think of anything. The most important part for me was that I passed eligibility since I had Canadian experience as a Research Assistant, and I didn't get paid in Canada. But it was accepted!!! SO HAPPY!

Also, I am in so called "CN covid pace" group. I was assigned to that group June 4th 2020.

So I guess I can relax and wait now. I am sure I will pass security if it hasn't been passed yet.

Hope this helps!
Okay update: did a little search, and it says here that "You don't need to worry about security because it will never show pass. Even if you got your PR, security will always be blank."

Looks like your security is already passed. Do you see "FINDEC" in your GCMS notes? That means everything is passed and you are now awaiting final decision :)

Hello guys

My progress bar in my CIC completed to 100% on June 26th 2020. I am currently residing in USA. My current status for Review of eligibility and Background Check are default and I have seen no change in months. No additions documents have been requested yet to me. Is it like for people residing outside Canada usually takes more time to process? If so does anybody have any general idea when can I expect a PPR request after all this timeline. Any idea will be appreciated. Also will it be any helpful at this point of time to request for GSCM notes?

Thank you.

The "NOTES" section in the last few pages is where you get a lot of the useful information :) You can also see here if you've passed your security stage. The notes are organized in order of most recent activity so "notes.1" will be what they worked on last. note #1 for me says "***PACE*** FINDEC pending" which means my file is now awaiting for the senior officer to review it and make the final decision. I hope this helps!

I got web form response today and this time they said that background security is valid.
In Earlier webform it was eligibilty, criminality valid and security not initiated. Can anyone suggest what will be the next steps?

Same here. Things have been slow for outland applicants especially from countries hit hard by covid19. With new all stream draw this week, I have my hope high again. I had a ghost update on my account today, but nothing has changed. From what I have read it means that my application is moving forward. I am outland applicant residing in USA, AOR 16 Dec 2019. I raised a webform in June when my application processing time was around 90%. As per webform notes everything is valid. Only thing we can do is wait patiently. Our time will come (apna time ayega...)
Good luck and Cheers!

Ah mine doesn't say that. Mine says ***officer review*** - FOSS/GSCM completed - no concerns. An later is says - PASSED ***ADMISSIBILITY***

I think I have passed the senior officer already.

Yes You passed everything. It just needs to be finalized. I have been waiting for the final decision for a couple of months.

We're in the same stage! I've been waiting for a final decision since April 15th. Hopefully the full staff will be returning back to the office and can resume normal operations soon :)
