Yes, I am in same situation here, I notified CPC-Ottawa on multiple occasion that I am inland ....may be it depends agent to agent how he/she sees you or it doesn’t work that way at all & there are no clear internal SOPs around that.
As per GCMS there is an assigned Agent and also assignment date. I am well past that date. The agent who I talked with said probably my assigned agent isn’t working. Also she mentioned how assigned group delays the processing too.
CEC and PNP are given priority over EE FSW. This is even without the current situation. The processing teams for these are different too as per my understanding. These are different classes. And they have the VO/VAC based delays too probably...
This time I requested GCMS which has officer notes, rejection reason etc. option instead of the case documents. Looking forward to see how this is different and whether it has ANY update since setting in mid May as ready for approval.
Coming this far I want to refrain from irritating any agent with repeated calls or webform or notes request... but still calling once in two weeks with a cascaded webform and monthly once GCMS. Just hearing something from IRCC through some means every week keeps it a less painful as they online case status is extremely frustrating - hate checking it! It’s of not use. Only the constant communication has helped progress the case in my opinion otherwise it just stays in the stack.
