How does it work in an application with 2 applicants??..are the different checks such as background, security etc shown separately for primary/secondary applicant post login to CIC?

YEs, each individual over the age of 16 will be screened for security, criminality, and medicals. It will not show up in you MyCIC account. MyCIC only has a generic BGC which will change 2 times, once for criminality, early in the processing and then agin for security, later in the processing.

To know the details, you will have to refer to your GCMS notes.

Hello...AOE June 5th, inland appln. My son was born here and canadianby birth. In the PR application, I included my son as well as I thought I should include all my dependents. I didn't have option to exclude him while paying fees. I paid for him too and thinking of raising a request to get refund. What do you guys think?

Did you answer yes to the question about this dependent being a Canadian citizen or permanent resident? The system only asked for my child's proof of status and passport after I did that.

Does anyone know what to do when I have misplaced my diploma certificate? I got an ITA and applying for express entry. In case I lost my Canadian diploma certificate but I have transcript and confirmation of graduation which I got before I apply for PWG. Can I submit my application with the transcript only or do they need any explanation or anything else? Any suggestions help.

Received, ITA 22nd June.
Currently filling up the form, the part for family on my spouse and children when they are asking for individual immediate family that is not on the application. Which family member they are expecting me to fill up here.
Please tell us about My spouse immediate family members that have not been identified in the application.
This includes any parent, any spouse or common-law partner, any child including adult children, and any brothers or sisters. If the relative is deceased, provide the date of death.
• Check the list at the bottom of the form first to see information you have already saved.
• When you click "Save and Add", each relative's details will be saved to the list.
• The fields will go blank to let you add details about another relative.
• Use the modify or delete button if you want to change details that you have already saved to the list.

Hi guys, I submitted my application a few days ago and I’m posting for some peace of mind...

Prior to submitting my application, I didn’t mention any “nicknames” in my personal details because I only ever use my full legal name on documents. I didn’t realize that I probably should have mentioned a name that some of my close family and friends colloquially refer to me as in conversation (a shorter version of my first name). I submitted a web form to add this information in case it is relevant to my application and because I think I may have mentioned it in a previous work permit application so wanted to keep things consistent. However, now I’m feeling nervous about a rejection over such a silly mistake. :( Is this going to be a problem?
