The usual number 888-242-2100 only. I always call them through TextNow app. Initial wait time it said 51 mins but call got connected to an agent in 7 mins

Yes absolutely, people have even called today as they have updated in WhatsApp groups. I haven't called them since May 1st as I know that too much calling will only irritate them more and every call we make gets logged in GCMS. So better to call them only once a month just to keep a track.

Does someone know how security check is done? Do they need to be in their office or can do remotely? How is the process?

If it takes so long, should we take another med exam? How long is it valid?

Fsw applicant from india i hve not heard from ircc since biometric 22 nov.Recently i raised web form and the reply was :-

They most likely can do it remotely, my security was assessed and approved on April 14, in the middle of the lock down.

It's hard to tell, You should ask them especifically for eligibility, security and criminality (it's nice to know as well the Visa Office - VO ).
Raise another webform or call them.

Hi I got the CoPR confirmation on June 5th .Visa officer from London Ontario called and verified and asked a few general questions and told you are now a permanent residence of Canada. They email the CopR letter via email and its mentioned to send this letter and Photo for getting the PR card . We asked officer weather need to do border crossing they told not required please proceed for PR card directly .
