Had emailed ICAS yesterday and this is the response from them-


For your file, appropriate documentation was received on August 13, 2019.

For the type of report you have requested, Assessment Officers are currently preparing reports for files for which we received sufficient documentation in mid-June

Still a good amount of wait for me.

I am facing the same problem. 5 months ago, I send my education document to the ICAS but for the last 4 months, my file status remains the same "Application reviewed for completeness and placed in queue for assessment "

Could you please guide me based on your own experience that how should I push to the ICAS to get my report as soon as?

Below is my timeline, I had emailed them to check on the status. They replied considering my date of document receipt to be 15th August instead of December 5. However, I am still confused and in doubt that what date would they consider in my case for the assessment - August 15 or December 5? If August, I may get an update by March but if December, then I have a long wait. It's already a long delay for me!

I am waiting for this report since last 9 months. Even my baby got delivered but not ICAS's report :-D

So, Pandemic has slowed everything g down, and likewise, we shouldn't be expecting our ECAs to arrive as they would have otherwise.

But it doesn't matter at this point, all processes other than ECAs will take hit due to this.

If your country is affected then you won't be able to give ielts, or get a passport/visa. If not then Canada is obviously getting hit by this and they will probably have to stop processing papers soon. Icas is still processing, but even slower and this is what they have to say about it

ICAS is monitoring operations in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, ICAS continues to accept applications and process documents, but staffing resources have been significantly affected. ICAS can make no guarantees as the situation is evolving rapidly. Applicants should expect additional delays in processing and in responses to communications.

As this is a global situation, ICAS recognizes that this may affect the ability of applicants to obtain necessary documentation. ICAS will hold applications until documentation becomes available.

Until further notice, ICAS' office is closed to the public for in-person submission.

Telephone lines are currently open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Mondays to Thursdays. Please understand that call volume is expected to be high.

This situation is unprecedented and your patience is appreciated."

I had written to ICAS asking to clarify on my date that they will be considering, the confirmed that my date of receipt of documents is 15th August. So they will consider this date for my assessment. I hope they do so, it's already been a long delay.

Finally got the report today.

had applied for evaluation of Sikkim Manipal distance mba and they evaluated it as Masters. This will take me to 457, still away from the cutoff.
