DO NOT EVER USE ICAS

Hi guys,

I just want to share my experience with ICAS. For my foreign post-secondary education assessment, I initially chose ICAS, I hadn't done my homework and hadn't researched about them. Paid all the fees, sent documents, had my university sent the transcript, all was done. Upon learning how long it takes ICAS to process the assessment (the website states 10 weeks) and how long WES does it, I gave it no second thought and decided to pay AGAIN for another assessment through WES, which was done in 2 weeks.

It doesn't matter anymore really if I ever get my results from ICAS cause I already got my ECA from WES. BUT. I sent my application to ICAS on FEBRUARY 29 and I haven't got any news from them let alone the ECA. Just out of curiosity, I checked my status online and it's still on "Application reviewed for completeness and placed in queue for assessment" since MARCH 31. It has literally been more than 5 months! That's 10 more weeks than what their website claims!

I've never been SO GLAD to have decided to pay another 200 bucks and go with WES. ICAS is horrendous! Please do not use them!

sorry to hear about your bad experience... WES is always recommended though - they are very reliable.
