Yep, I got denied a couple of hours ago and had to drive back to Boston.

However, this won't last for people trying to get into Canada from USA. They are currently facing an influx of "Snowbirds" getting back into Canada, and they are prioritizing them.

Why are they prioritizing Snowbirds?:
1. Snowbirds are retired people (65+), more susceptible to COVID-19
2. Canadian citizens.
Out of curiosity what did you mean by "this won't last for people trying to get into Canada from USA" ?

There's the link guys. Not sure what to do now for those with COPRs expiring before 30th June. What date do we even book flights for now? So confused.
It is confusing but I think for now best bet might be to just raise webform mentioning cancelled travel plans and ask for instructions on how to proceed.
I suspect there will be some clarity in a week's time. Here's a twitter post suggesting that they are trying to figure out details :

I do think the land borders will open sooner than june 30, but possibly only for US citizen COPRs like it was couple of days ago.

So it looks like I will be fine to fly with a COPR as my common-law partner is a Canadian citizen.
Hi can anyone please clarify on this ? Am also at same confused state as my husband is PR CARD holder me and kids got COPR so we will be fine to fly with COPR as my husband is a PR CARD holder .

Maybe that's what they mean only for US citizen COPRs, which would be disappointing :(
Though that travel order does exempt those who have lived in US for last 14 days at least. But I think its all very unclear/confusing as of now.

My Conclusion guys: WE ARE not allowed to enter to Canada in this current situation even if we have CoPr. maybe we should wait and see more news to come, I am pretty sure CIC will react and bring more news....otherwise guys, we should fill that WEBFORM, we should wait, we wshould be patint, WE ARE LEFT IN LIMBO..... it is what it is, I am actually looking to solve my things here to stay more time in my current country of residence, it hurts a lot but I know I cant do anything.
You are absolutely right. Copr holders are treated as foreign nationals. When we went to the arrival counters, there were two queues. One for Canadian citizen and pr holders, the other one for all other passports. We were directed to all other passports. The only solution now is to raise a web form and inform them that you can’t travel. Also attach the copy of the ticket as an evidence just so they know you intended to travel but couldn’t before the expiration. This is what we would have done if we were not lucky enough to travel before the ban became effective. There are 100 and 1000 of copr holder, IRCC would come up with an extension soon. It is a strong possibility that IRCC would ask for medical and latest police certificate.

I noticed this too. The CBSA 4 part tweet is for people inside Canada and not for people outside. Tweet points starts with "if you are inside canada" , "in-canada seevices" , " do not travel to border". This is not for CoPR holders waiting outside of Canada
