In my opinion this information was posted on 15th March 2020 and travel restrictions were informed publicly on 16th March 2020. So this information is about if you are not able to travel due to COVID19 situation in your country and not due to new travel restrictions. Some countries are not allowing any out bound travel for some period or you are not feeling safe to travel due to some medical condition in this CoronaVirus pandemic. So this information by IRCC is regarding that. This what I believes and it makes more sense. If you have waited for your CoPR approval all this long then I believe you can also wait for some more time to see if restrictions are relaxed after a while. First let the restrictions be applied its 11:51 am in Toronto Canada and restrictions will be applied right after 10 mins from now.
that's correct but now they are not even allowing anyone to cross border os will have to wait until further notice.

Not sure the answer as lots of confusion, but if your wife get success to enter in Canada let me know
Good luck.
I am also in the same situation. My wife has got COPR and PRV. I am a PR in Canada. I will let you know if I find anything.

They've already said COPR will be extended if you can't travel to Canada before expiration of your documents, which we can't do at the moment.

You don't have to worry about that.

I hope they do extend the dates because again going through the whole PR application process would be very unfair to us. I read somewhere that they are helping the new PR applicants with the timelines. They have extended the document submission time to 90 days instead of 60 days.
They should consider our situation also.

They would for sure. They need immigrants and for sure there must be atleast 2000-5000 immigrants with COPR waiting to land. This would be sorted out sooner or later.

Just contact your airline ask them if they will allow you to board the plane. Problem is with airlines. Once you r in Canada they will accept your landing. As per cic.gc.ca they encourage approved PR and copr to land
Hello sir,
Thankyou so much for your valuable suggestion, we did the same . Today morning my husband called to my airline and asked about the same , they clearly said that they will not stop anyone because as of now they didn't get any official information regarding this, but they suggested that first check with the immigration department in airport once they allowed means we will not stop you, what she said . So after this my husband called to immigration and they said that till this date we didn't got any update like this we passed all the safety instructions to all the airlines what we got but we didn't got any instructions like this so you guys please do as you planned, what he said.
So we decided to travel.
Thankyou.

Reconsider your decision because CBSA AND IRCC have clearly told that COPR holders wont be allowed to enter. Even if you are allowed in, hiring and employments are frozen. Thousanda have been laid off from their jobs. completr lock down in differrnt cities. You would spend the savings for few weeks or even a month or two. Rest is your decision :)

They have not said this clearly anywhere.
