I hope am not gonna wait for long time before my oath invite. The letter I got from CIC that requested for document ( physical presence calculator) says if am able to submit the doc within 30 days of the notice, my application will be eligible for expedited process.

Please what are the documents required to apply for a Canadian passport? Do I need a guarantor to signed the application and passport photo?

My landlord do not have Canadian passport, can she be my guarantor for Canadian passport application?
Congrats for the Oath invite.

Please check the link https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-passports/new-adult-passport/apply.html for answers related to documents required for the Canadian passport application.

Refer to https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-passports/travel-documents-references-guarantors.html to understand the Guarantor requirement for your Canadian passport application. The Guarantor must be a Canadian Citizen 18 yrs or older and must have a Canadian passport. The link also mentions additional requirements and what can be done if you don't have such a guarantor.

All the best for the Oath ceremony and getting the Canadian Passport!

Hello guys, i have an unfortunate case! i hv applied for my citizenship on 29th May 2018. Got the test date for Dec 2018 but i hv requested for another date.
the new date was 14th March 2019. i have passed the test but unfortunately the officer there while reviewing my details saw that i had done a mistake in one of the travel dates. instead of 5th May i hv put 12th may which has reduced my physical presence to 1093. They also saw another day where i hv missed my flight on 24th sep just at the gate so i flew again on 25th sep. The officer didnt put any date so technically i hv left Canada on 24th but the fact is i hv left on 25th. later on in june 2019 i was asked to giv explanation to these absences but so far no news. cn anyone help wht might happen to this file ? did anyone see similar case in the past where the physical presence was corrected after passing the citizenship test ?
