Check your online status in ecas. If it’s whiling complete , you are good to apply for passport. Not necessarily u have to wait for 2 days. Check the status first

Hi everyone,

Kindly wanted to ask if anyone ever had to go for finger prints twice. I have been told to do my finger prints again one day after doing my test. Is this normal? If it is then why wouldn't the officer just tell me after the test(during the interview)? After doing the finger print, how long do I expect to wait before hearing back? The last finger print I did was almost a year now.

Please advise all.
