The PA had submitted biometrics earlier (before applying for Spousal visa). When we linked the application today, biometrics information was already linked in our account.

Yes we have Biometrics information already linked however, the biometric status doesnt show "Complete" . I think we will be asked again soon for Bio.

Today ECAS shows 'Decision Made' under Sponsor and I received the Medical request. I'm going to guess that means that the Sponsor was approved. :)

Hi All, my co-worker told me about this site. I'm so glad there is a way for all of us in the same boat to connect! I'll add my details in my signature shortly. Look forward to contributing!

Just checked mine. It shows decision made under Sponsors application status. And the PA also got his biometrics request letter.
Does that mean sponsor approval?
Im just going to assume yes since sending biometric request would be a waste of time if sponsor isnt approved.

Does anyone if a Sponsor Approval letter will be mailed/emailed?

I got all three (sponsor approval, biometric and medical request) all in the space of a day or two, all by email. Suggest waiting a few days to see what comes.

Hi Guys

I am looking for some info on the process and documentation for spousal sponsorship. I am a PR living in ON and work as contractor. Can anyone please guide me or point me in right direction for all the documentation required.

I do not have strong ties with my partner as it is a arranged marriage (planning to get married in couple of months) - I can only give few pics and chat/calls as proof of relationship and marriage pics/certificate after marriage. My confusion is -
Should I invite her on visit visa to Canada (for a week or two) and then plan to get married later? or
Keep it simple, get married and raise outland sponsorship.

Sorry to post in this thread, but wanted to get idea from you guys.

Hello, I am applying for OUTLAND SPOUSAL VISA this week and looking for advice.

I keep reading the checklist and but I hope to get a reply from you guys about my concern. I am afraid to make a mistake in filling out the application forms. I really do have lots of concerns.

1. In the checklist, it says to provide a max of 10 pages for the proof of communication but my husband and I talk day and night on skype and FB since September 2018. Do you have any advice on which month/date should I print and send with the application?

2. For Additional Family Information (IMM 5406), Do my family members need to fill out their own copy of this form even they are not accompanying me? I have no dependent.

3. Unique Client Identifier (UCI). I applied for a visitor visa last year before we got married but unfortunately, my application was refused and in my online account I have this UCI number. My question is , Can I put the UCI number in my OUTLAND SPOUSAL VISA APPLICATION?

4.REPRESENTATIVE FORM-QUESTION #3
3.if you have already submitted your application:
Name of the office where the application was submittedType of application ( permanent residence, extension, of study, citizenship, etc.)
IS it ok to leave it blank or I must type N/A since I have not submitted yet my application?

5. I got confused in this form Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking.
In the form itself, you can see in question #3" Is there a Co-signer in the application(Co-signer must be the spouse or common-law partner of the sponsor) but in the checklist it says " You can’t have a co-signer if you are sponsoring your spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner"

6.GENERIC FORM APPLICATION. I got confused also about the DEPENDENT(s) it says " You must provide the following details about each of your family members, whether they will be accompanying you to Canada or not. You must include your spouse or common-law partner, if applicable and all of your dependent children, and those of your spouse or common-law partner, who are not already permanent residents or citizens of Canada."

I have no dependents. My question is, does this mean that whoever family members I put in ADDITIONAL FAMILY MEMBER FORM must be also typed in IMM 008 Generica Application Form in the section of DEPENDENTS?

7. Do I need to submit the Birth Certificates of my Family Members even they do not accompany me to Canada?
8. The last question, Due to typographical error on my birth certificate, is it ok to provide an affidavit of discrepancy? Fixing this kind of error really take months or maybe to a year here in the Philippines

Thank you so much in advance. God bless everyone!

I have submitted biometrics to VFS Dubai and Medical is also done. Now waiting...
Also, i have tried to link my application on GCKEY but was unable to do so.
Meanwhile , checking application status on Client Application Status.

I have the same case when it comes to Bio-metrics. My Spouse submitted hers during the TRV Application and the same have already been linked in her file from the back end. Let's see if we get another request.

She didn't require to go for medicals but yours might work. Not sure though. Let's see. Should be clear soon.

This has to be the most stressful period in the whole process. After it's just a matter of time.
I imagine there are lots of stressful points and periods. I found waiting to find out whether the application would be returned the most stressful (so far).

But as others have noted above, if you got the medical and biometrics, and you saw DM for sponsor in the system, there is no reason to stress about this stage.

Morning everyone
Did anyone from the Feb 06 (delivered application) got any AOR 1 and did not update it in the spreadsheet?
I still did not receive anything yet and I am a bit worried
