I just filled out the forms, but not for the part for my common-law..struggling with hiring a lawyer for submission or not..does anyone hiring attorney here for extra sense of security? anyone have an idea how much does that cost as normal rate?Very nice to know that you can speak fluent mandarin!
If you like, you can go to http://forum.yorkbbs.ca/immi/ for more advice. there are two experts who like helping others in the forum by mandarin.
I have almost finished all the forms, excluding police certificate.
I am so struggling with the police certificate due to corona virus. You know everyone in China is in qurantine and it is difficult for them to go to the police station and notary office.
One of my friend would like to help me for the certificate, and i know it will take a long time,
Nothing to do, just wait...
IRCC clearly says work permit biometrics is not valid for PR. Vice versa is not true. A Biometric given for PR is also valid for work permit. (Unless something changed internally and the website is not yet updated)Did you give the biometrics for applying work permit, vistor visa, or something else?
I remember i gave the finger print when i was applying work permit.
Hi @chivinas that is very very strange. Can you please login to your Paper PR account online? On the right hand side, under your name, it says when was the Biometrics completed and for how long it is valid. Does it show anything there? I have just given my biometrics today but dont see it updated on the online profile of the paper PR. Probably it will take a day or two. Not sure. Anyone?@Fonca I just got a refund of CAD 170 in my credit card for the biometrics I paid when sent the application.
