Pre arrival letter means you’ve passed your eligibility, basically you won’t be asked to come for an interview.

Tbh at that point It’s no fixed it can be anytime aweek , 3weeks,a month, a month plus and also each case is different, also their workload plays a huge part in how fast an application is processed.

It's better to err on the side of caution, it won't cost u much to go with the passports just in case.
