Have you tried to link your paper application on mycic account? You can also check status on your application via ivr on this number 18882422100. Follow instructions to check status
I can’t link my application because all username and password is with my consultant and he is not giving it to me I don’t know why so I can’t link it online. And thanks a lot for this ivr number I am checking it on it

And one thing more that on this ivr number what kind of information they want from applicant because the email address and the application number is not with me it’s with the consultant remaining all information is with me. Like date of Birth name address Vfs Tracking id etc

That’s what I am thinking I don’t know why he just limited me to track it on VFS Global
did your consultant apply? just tell him to give you your application number so that you can link your application

Yes that’s what I told him but he said that you can track your application through Vfs means it’s genuine and given the biometrics and photograph but giving you application number or whole file and then you will link it online and after that if there’s is any query or extra documents requested by IRCC then you can’t do anything and hence came over to me again so just leave it to me.

thats bullshit linking you application is actually a faster way to respond to any queries by IRCC what your consultant is telling you does not make sense

Hey all. I have a query, hope you guys will be able to help out.

So, I am currently in Germany on a kind of a temporary work permit that is issued after studying there and now I am looking forward to applying for a student visa in Canada.
The course in question is from a very reputed university and everything else is in order too.

So, I was thinking that if I could apply through SDS, if I just get back to Khi? I mean, I get it, one cannot apply under SDS even if you are a citizen of an SDS eligible country, however not living in that country and that totally renders me ineligible for SDS, if I apply from Germany... But can I just get back to PAK and apply for SDS from there?

So, in brief, my query is that will I (being a citizen of Pak) become automatically eligible for SDS the day I set foot back on Pakistani soil or do I need to spend some time there first in order to attain that 'legal resident' status?

TIA!

You can just come to Pakistan and apply as soon as you wish. I was studying in Malaysia, came back and started my process as a transfer student and applied my study permit a few months later. Since you are a Pakistani, you do not need to attain any kind of "legal status" upon arrival.

This is not true! I have seen so many applicants were banned or their visas didn’t even applied and so called consultants charged them arms and legs. He is a scam for sure. One more way to retrieve your application details directly from IRCC is send a webform to Ottawa OS and Abudhabi IRCC and request them the status. Make sure for your details you provide as much as details you can in order for them to find your application i.e:
Surname:
First Name:
DOB:
City of birth:
Country of Birth:
Biometric tracking number:

and any other details you might have live VFS tracking number as well. Hopefully they will reply you not only with status but also your application number and UCI number.
