@ZOYAMAN13 @canuck78 So my wife called today to IRCC and told the agent that the province has already sent the letter out on 29th Oct. So today the agent confirmed that the letter is received and for some technical reason was not showing in the system before but now it is showing as received and that step is clear. As per Agent now they are doing background on my wife and myself (co-signer). Once done then SA decision will be made on the file.

I hope you are referring to a the stage of PPR. I know that when CPC Mississauga asked for Passport, Biometrics, PCC, country specific requirements etc. at that time the required validity was 12 months. But i want to know at the time of PPR.

Final decision: Your application is approved . counterfoil document generated.
Expiry Aug 27,2020(exactly 1 year from date medical was done)

For at least 6 months, it says on PPR letter.

Hi Yendor,

I am also in same situation where applied only for my mother. My application was accepted on June 5th and no response from then. Today i called CIC and asked question about the same condition to which they said they are ok with it and only thing they want my father to do is a medical so that it will be useful for them if at all my mother decides to sponsor him in future. If you already aware of this information by now as i see this was posted 25 days back then please ignore my response.

Mine is the exact same. I just got stuck at the word Canadian Citizenship. I though it should've been Canadian permanent residence. But thank you

Hi friends, Can you please advise.

We received Bio request on 17 Dec, and on 24th Dec, my mom gave her fingerprints at the Service Canada office in GTA. Within an hour the information was reflected on the Applicant Information section of my CIC account. However, on Detailed application status shows “ We have not received fingerprints yet”


I am a bit confused now. Anyone else in the same situation?
