I sent a webform enquiry and got a response that the application is still in process and wait for 2 years to complete. Not sure what "process" is remaining after decision has been made. Maybe the case officer is still on vacation

What about time frame for DM2.
My application May 14th and still no PA DM. Thank you
Many reasons, some of which are:
1. Different cases are assigned to different offices which have their own pace and workload
2. Different case officers from the same office may assess the cases at different pace / per their individual workload etc.
3. Assigned case officer may be on vacation
3. Each case is different, in some cases e.g. @ZOYAMAN13 there was significant delay due to social services check which she had to resolve herself.
4. Individuals may submit additional requested documents at a different pace - as they become available / per the time required to gather them.
.... etc.
You should follow the tracker for average times as well as office specific timeframes for different steps.
SA letter says 12 months: Your relative must submit a copy of their passport. If your relative’s passport has expired or will expire within the next 12 months, please have them apply for and submit a copy of their new passport with a validity of 12 months or more.
PPR letter says 6 months
Correct - 6 months in PPR; 2 blank pages needed & visa will not be issued beyond the passport expiry date.
Hey that's at least some kind of hope for you.
I would ask you and all that are waiting for social assistance check to contact your mp and just send an inquiry as to what's going on. When MP will send the inquiry the case officer itself will take the file in the hand and respond(that's what happened with me- if you look at previous post I've also shared his response to the mp)
It's been long that you guys have been waiting for sponsor approval and i think it's reasonable to contact your local mp and just tell them to ask for an inquiry. MP inquiry is not gonna hurt no one!
