I also sent passports to Ottawa for my parents on 27th and still in transit. It’s likely this time of the year causing delay, not that there’s any issue with your shipment. I share the anxiety though Maybe wait till end of day tomorrow to call Canada Post if the package is still not delivered. I recently dealt with their customer service and found them very helpful!

I wasn't able to find an answer to my question. Please help out.

My in laws would live to visit me and my wife in Canada. I was planning to apply for a supervises for them. Even though my wife is a PR holder, she is not currently employed. So can I only be the one to fill out the financial letter of suppory.? Would IRCC would accept my financial statements if I meet the criteria for the sponsoring them?

Yes you can be the cosigner for her!
Am not working since 2015 and we submit our application for my parents and my husband was my co signer.

Hey @RanjithP when did you get PPR? If I remember correctly your parents also had government service background.
I submitted the requested documents on October 22nd and still waiting for a review by the officer.

It's like super quick...my parents passports received in ottawa on 24 dec.....and return tracker is already activated ...I m expecting to receive it anytime today...I was thinking it takes 3 weeks ....
