I plan on proposing to my girlfriend this year, She is a canadian citizen and i am US citizen. We have been dating for nearly 4 years and our relationship is 1000% legit. I had a few questions though if you guys could please help
1. I’d like to purpose around april while visiting for two weeks, then apply for a marriage license to be married in june. and then fly back out till june and return to get married, is this allowed?
2. Do i have to state to the customs officer that i am planning on proposing and then getting married during my stays? (Both trips will be around 2-3 weeks and i always have a return ticket)
3. Is my wife who is the canadian citizen sponsoring, allowed to leave her country to visit me in US for 1-2 weeks at a time during the application process?
4. Do i need any special sort of visas, documents when coming through customs with the intent of getting married? am i allowed to do all this while just coming in like it was a normal visit? I do not intend on staying in canada permanently well until the process is over, I am currently working in the states and can’t afford to not work in canada lol

1. Yes.
2. You do not have to volunteer information, only answer truthfully. Obviously "purpose of visit" could be a bit ambiguous, but I don't see anything untruthful about saying "visiting your girlfriend" if you have a wedding planned. Keep in mind that if the subject comes up (whether visiting girlfriend or wife or whatever) the officer may wish to determine whether you intend to overstay your visa. Return tickets to USA probably enough.
3. Yes, but she does need to continue to reside in Canada. Just keep the trips reasonably short.
4. No, you don't need a special visa or anything like that. Visiting your girlfriend/spouse is a normal visit and a normal reason to do so. The only thing of substance really is that you will respect the terms of your visit granted at entry (usually meaning you can stay six months from USA? I don't recall, it's in the stamp at border).
