Hi guys,

Today I realized I haven't sent checklist and all required documents for OWP that was submitted along with inland sponsor application. Could you please provide your thoughts on what can be done at the moment? My file was received by CIC on Nov 6th.

Thanks

I too did not submit duplicate supporting docs for the OWP. I'm hoping my app is not returned

Another forum member posted in this thread that their app was returned for missing an NOA doc only a few weeks after it was received so I'm hoping that because it's been over 21 days now since they received mine that I should be ok?

Can anyone comment on how quickly they return applications for missing docs? If they received my application over 21 days ago, can I assume it's all ok?
Your OWP application is very unlikely to be returned due to not submitting the checklist/extra documents. I'm a September applicant and no one in our thread has reported having the OWP returned for that reason (we had this discussion then too :p). Since the Inland OWP program is a pilot, and it seems that when you apply for PR they transfer your OWPs to another office, there has been some leniency on how the applications are submitted.

Try not to worry too much about the OWP :)

Thanks a lot for your reply simoneleah. This brings me some relief. I was worried that I will loose about 4-6 weeks of progress on our file if it comes back.

In case CIC is not happy about my documentation, I'll provide you the communication from CIC and we can discuss further

Hi all.
Our application was received on Nov 18th. I’m an principal applicant and my husband is PR. I already took my medicals few months ago this year for my pgwp. In the checklist, I wrote the name of the doctor, address and phone number of the hospital where I took my medicals.

For my case, do they assess my background check right after they send me AOR skipping the medical part? Or do they ask me to do another medicals?
I believe it will still take them a week or two to review your medicals, but you definitely won't have to worry about spending an extra week or two to get your tests done and results out and mailed to the office. This is an uneducated guess though.

We sent our application on 20th via Canada post xpress and it still hasn't arrived, at least according to tracking site, and Canada post has no Idea where it Is right now. They think it might be already delivered, without 'out for delivery' scan. I sent an e-mail to IRCC and now just waiting to see what's happening. I read about these things happening to others as well and it turned out that it was delivered, so I'm not concerned very much...yet

Hello Guys,

I am in final stage to mail my Inland-Spousal sponsorship package. Just a few questions:

1. To submit OWP with PR application, what are the other documents need to submit? is it just IMM5710 application form? Should we include OWP Checklist? Or what are the supporting documents we should include?
2. What is the order of the documents you people followed for the complete application package?

Please help

Ok, so finally we have sent our inland application. My wife Visitor visa will expire end of March 2020. We applied for OWP+PR Inland. Her visitor expires end of March 2020, so I got few questions, please answer to your best knowledge.

1> Should we apply for Visitor Records to extend her visitor visa in the mid of February?

2> Because we did apply for OWP, does that mean we do not need to apply for Visitor Record to extend her visa?

3> If we do not need to apply for Visitor Record, and if we do not here by end of March 2020, and she decides to stay over, does that mean she will be implied status?

Sorry, I couldn't find answers anywhere.

Hi,

We are confused with below questions from imm5532e application form?

3. Are you living together now? Yes No

4. If you are not living together, have you visited each other during your relationship? Yes No

We are engaged in June and got married in October, and we are living together after marriage.
So, Answer to 3 is Yes.
What would be the answer to question 4? He visited me in June and October.

Thanks in advance!

When there are nested questions like this "if you are not living together", you do not have to answer that question. You can leave blank or write N/A or not applicable.

No harm if you do as you have done though.

People from late October are still waiting for the AOR. I'm guessing November applicants will get theirs in the new year.

Guess I'm just being impatient lol.

Question...it says that the OWP takes about 4 months to receive. Is that 4 months from when they send you the AOR? Or 4 months from when they recieved the application? I read that the OWP app goes to a different department to be processed so I wasn't sure
