Hi, I'm currently in Canada, my husband submitted my application documents by mail for Family Spouse Sponsorship,Work permit and Extension of Stay as instructed on October 22, 2019. My temporary resident visa for 6 months will expired on January 15, 2020. Until now dated November 28,2019, I have not been notified of anything. My question is. Do I have to apply again for extension of Stay on December 15, 2019? As I will have 30 more days remaining before January 15, 2020 expired date until my application approved?

Please advise what shall I do to prevent further problems on my status here in Canada.

Second question. What is Implied Status?

Thank you for your time for this matter.

Don't expect to hear anything until the end of December or January.

You don't have to apply for an extension but it is generally advisable. Applying for the visitor extension will ensure you maintain valid status in case your PR/OWP app is returned.

You don't have to apply Dec 15. You can apply for a visitor extension up until your visitor status actually expires.
