Date: 2019-11-16 that date I have on invitation to the test, the actual invitation letter dated Nov 16.

Today I checked status and it is saying:

We sent you a notice on November 8, 2019 to appear and write the citizenship test on December 9, 2019 at 12:33 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

My question is: how did they send me a notice on Nov 8th if the actual notice I have is from Nov 16th? Everyone is like that?

The system generated email date for invite and the one in the ecas could be different and this is the same with my invite too. However just ensure the date for test in the ecas and the email are the same. If there is a difference then i recommend that you call call CIC

They must have a really slow computers (took 8 days to generate email)

It maybe that the system generates the contents and it goes through a approval workflow for checks before it is finally published or emailed...this is just speculation...eitherway...congrats on getting the invite

Yup, no movement in Ottawa. Mine went to IP on Sep 27 and I didn't hear anything since then. A colleague of mine (in Ottawa) had his app delivered in Mar and he became a Candian citizen 2 weeks ago. I was hoping the momentum would continue, but looks like they have gone into hibernation!

Hello friends I am from Barrie Ontario I applied in May2019 my application received 22nd of May 2019 for grant of citizenship and I receive my knowledgement letter 8th of August 2019 and they update on 7th of oct 2019 that just started processing on my application. Does anybody know which is my immigration office for furthur process.and how much time they take for exam invitation

Looks like some movement in Winnipeg. My friend who is not on the forum just got his test date of Dec 2. His application is late April or 1st week of May.
