Can you please update the tracker?

However, mycic is still not showing any updates, do we know how much time it has taken for others to see mycic updates post ecas?

Hi,

I had ghost update yesterday in my CIC with Background check status changed from ‘Not applicable’ to ‘We are processing background check’ . My ECAS status is ‘In progress’ for PA. Any idea when it may change to ‘DM’ ?

I have provided all additional documents on Oct 08th.

please update: Decision made for sponsor, PA in process.
A quick question again:
do they send biometrics next?
if they do I am pretty nervous how I am going to get their requests if they send me a request for additional doc via email, but yet I get AOR by mail.
I sure hope they won't start sending requests to my mom's original country's mailing address.

I don’t really get how this works, so they approved your PA before gathering medical and PCC? What is pre-arrival letter, that means it’s DM?

Most case Bio request come with just day before DM status. but few got from Local VO too after file transfer to Local VO.
wait for Sponsorship Approval letter first. and Bio request

No Pre arrival is not DM. It is kind of a letter that mentions different Canadian websites and offices that the new parents can take advantage of for finding home, learning language or getting a job once they arrive in Canada.

-Have few questions in mind though :

1. my mother is a widow and they have requested to submit the original death certificate ? can i not submit the copy instead and if i submit the original, will i be getting that back ?

"If your spouse is deceased, provide the original death certificate or any other official documentation that pre-dates the application. Also indicate the date and year of death."

2. similarly they have requested original for my birth certificate as well
"Original birth certificate for each child (which shows the names of the parents)"

3. PCC from each country where she has lived for more than 6 months. Do i need to provide the PCC from Canada as well.

As per my knowledge, you can get multiple copies of certificates for Birth and Death Registration.
They are all original as you get 2 copies for PCC from Passport office.
by original means they will have registration number mentioned on the each certificate (that will be same), but each certificate will be having different document serail numbers. Each certificate will have a Hologram, Seal and signatures.

you can get as many copies from CMO office or any Sewa Kendra and there is very small fees fper certificate.
Just bring the original Birth or Death certificate with you and they will issue you more copies for the same..

I know this because I got multiple copies of originals for my Father's Death certificate..!

I dont know why you not get SA letter. did you check your spam folder?
well your file in process @ NDVO and you already got PCC . in that case you know your Local VO and Sponsorship Application decision is approved.

Its been more than a month since Police clearance, travel, resume etc was uploaded. No next steps yet !!! How much time people have waited on an average to get next steps ??
