Yes it will be 6 weeks on the 29th, but I submitted it almost on weekend plus it was the Saudi National Day after that, so I guess it reached their office by 23rd of Sept. The calculation of processing is by the time it reached the Canadian Embassy. I am also a Filipina, on visit visa under my husband's name. The only update is "reviewing of eligibility" as well. Let's wait and see, they might have update for us by next week because technically we roughly have the same timeline.By the way Im a Filipina working in KSA. If im not mistaken your application will be on its 42 days on October 29th. And thats 6 weeks of processing as what stated on the website. Lets hope for the best. InshaaAllah good news will come.
Yes, true! Hoping and praying for a good outcome next week. Please update if there's any news on your application. I also linked my application on GCkey, almost a week after I submitted (tried linking after more than 5 attempts).InshaaAllah Next week will have some updates. Ameen
It's been more than 2 months since you submitted your application. My biometrics is not updated on the CIC account but I have done biometrics upfront since I submitted it in person.Hi there,
I have also applied for a study permit from Riyadh (online application). Here's my timeline:
August 15: Submitted application (medical done upfront)
August 16: Biometrics request
August 18: Biometrics done
August 19: Status updated- Medical passed and biometrics completed
Since then, no updates.
Contacted them through webform, said they were doing additional verifications and would take time outside of posted processing times, so I am waiting patiently.

So am I, we both did the paper application but on our biometric status it doesnt appear that we did it. They supposed to put “completed” or biometric done. It's been more than 2 months since you submitted your application. They just put my biometrics number on the bottom of the page but not completed on the 'biometrics' section. So am I, we both did the paper application but on our biometric status it doesnt appear that we did it. They supposed to put “completed” or biometric done.
