Hey i tried to link my application but its still not working. I tried every combination with my info as well my moms but nothing.
I am in the same boat where I can't link my application. You have to contact CIC using webform. Use technical issue as subject and attach all the screenshots of the filled form. CIC will get back to you.

Received AOR from LVO-London on Oct 1st in the morning in PA's myCIC.
I liked the way they explained the processing of PR file. It's worth reading for all those whose file got stuck (I can correlate it to sponsorship side too although it's for PA file processing)
I will share it later.

Hello friends

I have a query regarding PR for my parents. They received the AOR in May and biometric request on Sep 27. They have completed biometric. They will be traveling to Canada in October for a period of 6 months. What happens when they receive PCC and medical? Can this be done in Canada or only in India?

Regards
Indu

Hi,

Medical can be done in Canada itself but it is going to be in the range of 300 to 500 Cad depending on the dr and depending on additional tests if required. It is pretty straight forward. For PCC if they have been verified on their india address with physical verification (either when they applied for passport or previous pcc) then it can be done from Canada straight forward using the BLS website. Rate i think is approx 35CAD and it comes in a week or less.

Also remember once the PCC request is completed - and if everything is well - next step is to submit the passports for temp visa and COPR. As a default this will be your Local Visa Office. In your case it will be New Delhi. But since your parents are already in Canada when they get the request - you may want to send a letter to CIC for changing to a visa office in Canada. I am not sure how much time it would take to move the file from 1 location to another but this is the actual process

That's NOT required. The PPR will have a section that says if you are already in canada then send your passport to Ottawa VO.

If that is the case then it is good. Either ways the process is simple and straight forward.
Thank you for the information.
