...one can order CBSA notes to be 100% sure about it’s start date, processing etc. if you have slightest inclination

Ralph Goodale is an MP and Minister in the out going parliament. He can't help you but emailing his office is one of the fastest and reliable way to find out your status (details in page 237 or 257).
Since you are in Canada, you can contact your local MP office to enquire your application status for you , they contact the VO for you and get back to you.

I contacted them and they told me that they CAN´T help me until I reach my dateline. Once I do, they could help. I just see people getting their PPRss. it is really frustrating.

I contacted them and they told me that they CAN´T help me until I reach my dateline. Once I do, they could help. I just see people getting their PPRss. it is really frustrating.

That's weird. Why do they have to wait until the deadline to clear an issue. I have seen other people mentioning their MP office enquiring the status for them.
Does this mean everything Canada is run similar to the processing of this application? :O
In that case, I seriously have to reconsider my options

Most probably yes.

I also got reply for an enquiry which I sent in early September. After all the blah blah, they asked me to check my spam folder. Still not a proper answer. Hopefully I won't have to contact them anymore
