My parents did biometrics as well as ME in March 2016 for super visa. Would they need to do it again?

I have emailed PCC, travel forms to NewDelhi Visa office a week ago. Passport photos sent by sanil mail.
Medicals passed Aug 29.
I haven't recieved any information from them for the acknowledgemet.
My CIC account stiil shows my action required and waiting for documents.
How long it will take for them to update. The cut of date is Sept 30. Should I be doing anything else.

Does it have to be linked? or there are repercussions if not linked.. right now I just go online and check by putting in the UCI number, surname, date of birth and place of birth

Linking is not a requirement. By linking you can check the real-time update on the file. If you get overstressed for tiny little things appears in the mycic, I would recommend not to link

Why did they need additional medical results and Heart Specialist's opinion?

My parents disclosed about the regular medication which my mother is taking from last 11 months due to her heart condition. That heart condition was not reported in any initial medical exam but was disclosed by my parents while panel physician asked about any medication being taken by my Dad or by my Mom.
Based on this disclosure , IRCC asked us to get some heart tests done as well as to get Cardiologist's opinion report and submit to IRCC.

After a struggle of 1.5 month, my parents were able to submit additional medical results and heart specialist's opinion yesterday to IRCC. It still worries me as I am not sure what will be the outcome of the review of these reports by medical panel of IRCC. Wish me a good luck and need your prayers so that I may see the medical passed status for my parents soon. Thanks a lot in advance everyone.

Depending on different cities/provinces.
In Calgary, its $220- $225 + additional cost for blood work and chest xrays (which i assume would be around $100-150 combined)
But in Ontario, someone had shared the prices in this thread, was little less as compared to AB.
On an average it would be around $300-$400 including blood tests and x-rays.

In Kitchener it was around $275

My father had to do an angiogram during his PGP medical. They saw something in the ECG report. Thank God they did. His arteries were blocked and we would not have been found out if they didn't go through that medical. After the angiogram, he put a ring (stent) and re-do the angiogram. With the updated result, he went to the panel physician and passed the test. Took about 2 months.

For my parents, it took them 10days for CIC account to update, not sure if you sent mail using the tracking number to ensure parcel was delivered. You can try calling CIC customer care to make sure they received it

I got Bio metric request for my Mom yesterday..
yesterday ECAS status was showing In Process for both and for sponsor it said porcess started on 10 Sept.
Today it shows Decision Made in sponsor application..

LVO ( other than CPC-M) "In process" date of PR application is NOT same as Sponsorship application, ones file transfer to LVO after Sponsorship DM Ecas status revert back from "In process" to "Appl received" and new "In process" date will posted on PR application Ecas status from LVO where PR file will proceed withing 2 week time ).
Applicant who's file transfer to other LVO please share your "In process" date for PR Application as per Ecas.

this is not the case if your file will process @ CPC-M.
