My brother first application got rejected after 23 days and 2 weeks after biometric done. we now applied for the second time by addressing the agent concerns. Do you know what is the average time if agent want to reject them again? will be shorter than first time?

You just have to wait and see. The letter is part of the process and it doesn’t mean good or bad news. The decision will follow soon as others have pointed out. Be on the look out and update on the decision. All the best!

Yes in my case I received biometric validity letter second time as well and decision after 24 hours

I heard that if they just tell me to go and collect my passport from the VFS’ office, it means that I’m approved because I have applied by paper in VFS and last time they sent me a letter with reasons that they refused me due to

I got the biometrics validation letter today please tell me it is positive or negative sign.
Before 1 month i got the same letter and then got refusal but that was my mistake i didn't attached the proper documents but i am nervous this time.
Please anyone's tell me what is going to heppen next?

when we received the correspondence letter for biometrics, we also received the decision after 24 hrs. You just need to wait for the result. we received positive result after the correspondence. Mom's flight on sunday

Yes no need to give bio again within 10 years (because bio is valid for 10 years) and they always ask the question when you submitting the application (mine was online)

I know that, but some others say they have gotten the biometrics letter again in the second or third time even though they did give their biometrics just in the first time?!, so will I get biometrics letter now im my second application too like them?

Yes you will receive letter for validity (every time)

What I understand now is that the Canadian office will only start to open and see our documents when we receive the biometrics letter? Or they open our file and check the documents first before sending the biometrics letter?

No mostly they sent validity letter once decided the application fate (this is what I understand with my application and here as well)

But I and my friend have applied on the same day, yet he has received this letter and gotten rejected after 4 days while I've been waiting for 3 weeks... what does that mean? why some people get their result faster than others?

it depends on the visa officer too.

I can't imagine that an officer will take a month or so just for reviewing one application! it's not possible because there are more than 200 million applications received from around the world yearly as they said on their website.... unless the officer works on more than one application at the same time.​

I received my biometric correspondence letter last thursday after completing my medical exams(not upfront) its been 6 days now......what decision can i expect?
Some people get results 1 or 2days after biometric letter
