I submitted my application on August 24 and my profile is still showing submitted. Is there any need to be worried? Thanks.
I don't think so. You will probably find it will change towards the end of this week. Canada is on holiday today so no files will be worked on.

I submitted my application on the 19 August and it changed to assessment on the 27th August.

In my EE profile, I have mentioned just one designation, my current one, though I have held more than one position in my current company.
1. Do I mention my current designation in OINP application or all the designations I held in my company?
My company reference letter states all of the designations I held in the organisation.

2. My NOC code is 2173 but the first position in the company was Trainee and as we know, there is no job code for Trainee.
That's why I want to confirm is it ok if I mention just the current designation in Work History section in OINP application, the same that I entered in my EE profile?

how to get the letter of Interest for OINP ? my noc code is 2171 . is there any hope for noc code 2171 to to get letter of interest from OINP with CRS score 400- 430 ?

also i have few quick question i really appreciate if some one can reply

1. our score will be 450 (ielts score 8 777) in case my wife become primary applicant but she is from accounts while as per my reserach we found that IT ( noc code 2171 ) is in high demand so IS IT ? advisable to create profile with me ( husband ) who is from IT but in that case our r CRS score will be reduced from 450 to 430 as myself husband age is more and have only bachelors degree please suggest

2. at present we both are preparing for IELTS and it seems difficult to get 8 7777 so in that case IS IT ? advisable to create EE profile and select all PNP options with CRS score around 400 ( ielts score less than 8777) and wait for letter of interest ?

please reply

Hi all,

I need your advice please. I am an engineer (not licensed) working in the field in Ontario and I want to apply to Ontario PNP. I know that engineering is a regulated occupation in Ontario and I should have a license before I apply to PNP.

But if I had a job offer with the same NOC as mechanical engineer and same duties but with different title like designer for example and a professional engineer will always check and sign my work. I can include this in both letter of employment and the job offer.

Do you guys think that would work? Or are they going to refuse my application?

Hi Kukreti,

You can still go ahead and apply, you dont know when you might hit the jackpot. But i would suggest that you must attempt IELTS once more to get the max marks you can, your wife already has a great score. Also, whats your wifes educational qualifications ? That will also contribute. as such to get a OINP PNP invitation your CRS needs to be above 400 which is there for you. We can help you a little better if you give more details like work experience of yours and etc ...

nd ECA docs for secondary applicant during our oinp application
If you are claiming points for spouse than yes...check how your crs score is arrived at
This is the query which I too have. I am not sure, if there's a need to submit work experience docs and ECA evaluation report for spouse. I am confused because my spouse only has few experience documents available.

However, If we need to attach extra documents for spouse, do we need to upload it in Family Documents tab ?

Can someone confirm if it's mandatory ??

Thanks,
Neha

For OINP PNP(confirmed by calling OINP helpdesk)- they don't need your spouse ECA or WES authorization. But there is a section to upload spouse IELTS.

For CIC ITA submission - if you are claiming points for spouse ECA or work experienc, then yes you have submit all those there.

Also another query is about " Other Activities (excluding education and paid work) " - I am still not sure on what else to include, except for 6 months of unemployment in 2009(because that starts from last 10 years until 2019) nothing is off track and off date , should I prepare an LOE for the unemployed period ?

That section is regarding other activities like internship or volunteering work etc in excluding your education and paid work. That's my understanding. I didn't had any so it's NA for me. I don't think you need to submit LOE for 6 months gap.

Hi,

I got my OINP approved and i accepted the invitation in my EE profile. But after accepting OINP there seems to be deeuction of 15 points in my CRS score. Before accepting invitation my CRS was 450 and now it is 1035 though it should have been 1050. Anybody has any idea about this.
