@canuck78 you said the same thing to this 2018 applicant and her mom landed successfully in Jan 2019 ..

@bdidol already posted the excerpt.

Based on Immigration act 134 (1) and Exception (1.1), EI will be deduct from total income line150 in order to test income eligibility for PGP.

Before criticizing me for being wrong please do your research. I had already posted that it was in IMM5748.

Was the officer wrong with the 2019 applicant @mehrazsepehr who got Bio request and DM recently...you and the other expert had the same intellectual debate with him in length on this topic?

Why would the twitter representative say yes, then correct the self and then take it down if it was true. Maybe there is a visa officer that is uninformed. There is the mention of a special HR benefit that could have put them over LICO. In previous years EI has also not counted. EI would run out at one point so not a dependable longterm income. Why would @joshijay3006 be asked to provide benefit information if they met the income cut-off?

Sorry I didn't get what is your point of argument? If you have any supportive policy or laws saying EI will be acceptable, plz share it. What happened to one or two person, none of us know as we don't have their details..but the policy or law what we were providing is very clear. If you have anything to show otherwise, plz share it.

wow..So we have reached to a stage where the bloggers are now claiming expertise over the VO...:p:rolleyes:

Do you know how many mistakes we actually see the are missed. The EI as part of the LICO is for general family sponsorship not PGP. The one saying PGP is not included is PGP specific. The CS agents tel, people the wrong information all the time. CRA customer service agents do the same. The IRCC twitter agent said yes then changed to no. We need clarification as to what the special HR benefit is. That could be why he qualified. It wasn’t considered EI. In terms of @joshijay3006 they are clearly asking for a summary of benefits received.
