Hi All,

I am not sure if CIC only working on April - May files... I can see people getting Medical request and i haven't received any communication from since i submitted my file.

I sent the file on Jun 3rd and not even a single beep after that.

Any ideas whats going on ?

That's exactly what they are doing, check the tracker, they are only working up until end of May, you are June...............
Oh and if you analyze the tracker a bit, most of the medical requests that have come are from CPC Mississauga not from overseas offices

Those submitted in June, did anyone of you get AOR? I am still waiting to hear back from CIC. Meanwhile, it seems like my parents are not interested in relocating to Canada as their parents are still alive and they need to remain in their home country to take care of them. I am now struggling with how to keep their minimum residency once they get PR status.

Just a curious thought, what would you do to help your parents integrate in this new society, my parents are over 60 years old so working is not an option, they have already worked their whole life and have enough savings to support themselves for the next 50 years. My parents have many times visited Vancouver (3 months each time), they enjoyed it but no intention of staying longer.

Yeah, looks like they are finishing the batch until 13 of May....
But because I'm in QC I know that I should know expect IME request anytime soon.

However, if things move as they did for others, a Undertaking and CSQ step must be coming in the next 5 to 10 days.

Everything seems fine on my side...

"they enjoyed it but no intention of staying longer"... Forgive me for asking, but then why apply for PR?

Simply because I can and I have the ability to do so. lol

Because I am their son and I want to sponsor them so that I can take care of them when they are older. They may not want to live here now but in 5 or 10 years they may change their mind. Who knows! :)
