Hey Guys,

I have been travelling which I didn’t track my application. I saw that many people who’s file was delivered on 14th got AOR or even someone later. Just checking if anyone from prior 14th June haven’t got AOR like me?

Yes there are quite a few who have not yet received the AOR. Suggest you look at the Tracker. Also please note that there is quite a variance by the location in which you live. Monitor the tracker. See my signature for a link to the tracker

Thanks for your reply. I will definitely follow the tracker. I was thinking maybe few people has gotten AOR but didn’t share in the forum. Speaking of the various timing of getting AOR, I didn’t see the different

Thanks for your reply. There is one thing don’t understand is I saw there are also many applicants got AOR from Vancouver and it looks pretty similar to others in other provinces. Will our applications send to local office after AOR or before? Thank you very much!

I don't know if the apps are physically sent before or after AOR... BUT I don't see them sending the paperwork before the AOR and IP are issued. Also... if you look at 2018, it is clear that Vancouver is one of the longest processing times. Once AOR and IP is issued,, Vancouver has often taken 4 to 6 months to issue a test invite. So... purely based upon historical data one might suggest your dates are... AOR Sept 8ish IP Oct 12 ish Test Invite mid March Test Mid April Just based upon 2018 data.

Based on the pattern, applications received between 17 to 21 June can expect to get their AORs this week!

We would like that to be a true statement yet there are still some from June 10 to 14 who have not received AOR yet are watching daily. Perhaps one might optimistically say SOME individuals from the 17 to 20 MIGHT get their AOR this week while others from June 10 to 14 are still waiting.

I am in Fort St John, BC and have no idea where my application will be processed. Edmonton, AB is a 7 hour drive, Vancouver, BC is 14 hours.
Also, I am exempt from language and knowledge testing due to my age.
Does anyone know how the location of application processing is determined?
Does anyone know if exemption from tests, due to age speeds up the decision process?
And how do I know where my local office is? I am in a rural are in the North.
Thank you.

Yes, You are right! It is better to say remaining applications from 10 to 13 June and some of 17 to 20 June can expect to receive AOR this week!:D
I think the system is working like this:
They receive applications and put a date tag on them. A month later they start processing those applications and if a document is missing, they return application to applicant otherwise they put them on another queue. Again 5 to 6 weeks later they start to input applications into their system (For issuing AOR) and again if they find any information inside main application form is missing (a section or tick...) they return application to the applicant. That's why we can see two different type of return dates. one occur one month after receiving date and another just before AOR (60 to 70 days after receiving date)
In my scenario when they start to process applications for the second time (8 weeks after receiving date) to input physical forms into their system, if we assume there are 20 officers for doing this task then each week they assign 1/20 portion of received application to each of officers. As we can see in normal working environment, one officer is working faster and the other one slower so we can expect the result we can see comes out. faster working officer finishes all applications of that week and slower person can't finish all of applications so some applications remain for the next week.;)
