Hi,
I have started my B-level job on Oct 1st 2018. I have been working 40 hours a week since then. I know IRCC only counts 30hours for the one year experience. I had an injury and had to take 3 days sick leave in April but which was paid. I have only worked about 20hours that week. And I had 4days unpaid plus 10days paid vacation in June. Do I have to work extra 3days for that sick leave even if it's paid? Also, for the unpaid vacation days? I'm just curious if I can submit my application for express entry on this Oct 1st or if I have to wait!!

I am in a similar situation as you. I have decided to wait to recover 18 days lost to my unpaid leaves in previous employments.

Paid leaves should be fine and will count as 'work' duration.

Thank you so much for your response. I think I'll wait a few days for the unpaid vacation. Also, I have another question if you dont mind answering. Can I start my application or submit it before having one year experience and say if I get invitation, I will submit the documents the day I actually complete my one year experience. As per what we have discussed that day will be a week after Oct 1st.
Is that possible?
