Travel to Canada with 4 yrs on or card but less than 6 months on passport

Need to carry a valid passport when flying internationally is not open for interpretation. Here is what air Canada says. Other airlines will have similar requirements "Canadian permanent residents/landed immigrants returning to Canada from the United States must carry a valid passport and a...

Travel to Canada with 4 yrs on or card but less than 6 months on passport

Validity of passport is still applicable regardless of pr status since no airlines would let one board without a valid passport.

Travel to Canada with 4 yrs on or card but less than 6 months on passport

Canada is one of the few countries that only requires 3 months of passport validity. However you would need to convince airlines and any transit airports. Recommend printing Canada website that states that 3 months rule.

Canadian PR: US land border entry after air entry I-94 questions

I94 is valid for 6 months, so unless something has changed recently, you will not need to pay 6$ fee within 6 months of your last travel. You would need to pay that for your family however.

Tried this successfully at the start of this year. As others have said, with Canadian pr and departure and arrival on SAME day (not just <24 hours), you MAY be given a same day transit visa stamp without needing to apply for a specific visa before hand. But there are two caveats 1. This is...

Settle anywhere outside GTA for better life

Toronto and Vancouver are indeed in top 10 expensive places to live in world, if you don't have a strong reason to stay there ex. weather, work, family and can get similar opportunities elsewhere, it makes sense to go elsewhere. As steaky says, those who can afford find it to be a great place.

New PR, travel with stamped CoPR before PR card

That's surprising, I would have expected entry requirements to be same for returning pr irrespective of mode of travel i.e. PR card or prtd

Ontario G1 license and foreign driver's license - which one to use?

Actually the regulations vary between provinces. I am quite sure provinces retain incoming license in case of direct exchange. However in case of credit transfer, some provinces retain ex. BC while others return original license ex. ON. Either ways, once issued a Canadian license, you should...
