Yeah I reckon so also, I’m under no illusion that it’ll take the full 12 months or longer.

I submitted in September 2018, outland from the UK. Last Friday, I received a request for IMM5409 - Statutory Declaration of Common-Law. According to my online account, this was a "replacement needed" but I never included it in the original application. Very strange, no?

Anyway, I uploaded it on the same day. Yesterday morning, my account was updated to say "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided." With 24 estimated days left, I really hope I see some movement this week. I'm currently in Vancouver on a tourist visa and every morning I wake up hoping for some good news! Quite handy that 8am here is when the LVO closes. Timeline below:

App received: Sept 13th 2018
AOR: Dec 19th 2018
Sent to secondary review: Jan 4th 2019
Biometrics request: Apr 25th 2019
Medical request: Apr 25th 2019
SA: Apr 25th 2019
Medical passed: Thu 9th May 2019
Biometrics completed: Thu 9th May 2019
Transfer to LVO: Thu 24th May 2019
AOR2: Wed 29th May 2019

The secondary review was due to an admin error on their part. The original agent had read the common-law date incorrectly and believed we had only been living together for less than a year. Looks like it came out of secondary review when the biometrics request, SA and medical request came through. What a stress!

Yes, sometimes they request IMM5409 and sometimes they don't - doesn't seem to be a rime nor reason one way or the other! Looks like they are putting the finishing touches to your paperwork, so yes, I would hope you will see things start to move as you are in the last lap.

I uploaded an updated Schedule A + police cert. a month ago and ever since it says they are "reviewing documents". It's been 2 weeks since I hit the 12 months mark. My medical will expire in Dec, sure hope they won't ask for another one and I'll get my DM soon. I can't express how frustrating it is to see all others getting all their ducks in a row and I'm still in darkness, not knowing how long this will last still...

Fingers crossed for you. I would be confident that they will not ask for a new medical, but what that will mean is that your CoPR expiry date will be Dec 2019, so best be ready for the trip I suggest.

Also, today I got another email from IRCC (got all excited...) and it basically turned out to be a brief reminder of the pre-arrival mail: "Access services that other newcomers have found useful...etc"
