Just a reminder, 12 months is not and never has been a 'deadline' or any form of promise. It is a statistical measure that says 80% of applications are processed within 12 months. That of course leaves 20% that take longer.

From maintaining an LVO spreadsheet for the last couple of years, the quickest I have seen spousal spomshorship processed in was 42 days (yes, really!) And the slowest is about 2.5 years (not wanting to alarm anyone here, just stating facts).

After getting DM and pre-arrival last week, I'm hoping PPR comes through this week (10 days left for the 12 month mark, FYI). I'm wondering, since I'm a UK citizen (visa-exempt), will I just need to upload a photocopy via my online account, or do I still to send off my passport? This is what I read on the Canada website, but the page was from 2014...

You may get a CoPR without PPR (we did), but more recently, PPR seems the morm. For you being visa exempt it would be uploading a scan of the passport bio pages only, NOT sending in the original passport (as there is no visa for them to attach).

Thanks, that's good to know. It would be handy if it did go straight to CoPR, considering I sent a scanned copy of the passport bio pages with the original app.

Hopefully I'll be able to post an update soon!

Received electronic confirmation of CoPR today! GCKey was updated to approved and completed. The electronic CoPR says that the physical copy is being sent in the mail. I did not receive a PPR. Will be booking a flight as soon as I have my physical copy!

Good luck to remaining applicants, big thanks to all those who help make this such a helpful tool.

Congrats! Glad they went straight to CoPR :D

I got my DM last Sat. Inquired last Monday through their webform for confirmation of application accepted. Unfortunately I haven't heard anything from them so far. Last 2 times when I used their webform, I got a reply within 24hr. Anybody else here who received their DM last weekend and hasn't heard anything yet? I know it takes some time for them to set everything in motion, just to get an idea roughly..

What you got is a standard 'pre arrival services letter', nothing to do with you fee that they think is missing but you have proof you paid. You have done the right thinb, sit tight.

i have been asked to submit my passport along with two photographs. Do I need to write information at the back of both photos or just one?
Whatever it says on the photo instructions. When I did it it was on the back of one of them.
