Applied on June 10th, 2019 with upfront medicals from Canada online. The application status has never changed (review of eligibility in progress) and there is no response so far.

I applied from Canada, not India. No, I didn't file the web form but hope to get a response anytime soon...

And status is... We are processing ur application from day 1..... don’t know for how long do I have to wait

My wife submitted the application on 27th of June, Biometrics passed on 1st July, Medical request on 29th of July, Medical passed on 2nd of August. We are waiting for passport request now. We did online application from India and currently the status is background check. So it has been 6 weeks, anybody else waiting with similar timelines ?

You wont recieve it since your wife already got pgwp , so you are eneligible for SOWP.

Where did this come from? How does this make one ineligible?

You ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR WORK PERMIT IF YOUR SPOUSE ISNT STUDYING FULL TIME , DID YOU GET IT ?

Where does it say spouse isn't studying full time? If I'm not missing Harmin's point, PGWP is Post Graduate Work Permit, I suppose the spouse is working full time, hence eligibility for SOWP.

Im not gonna argue with you when you DOnt even know the rules of SOWP.

Correct me if I'm wrong, spouse of someone holding PGWP, working full time in NOC (0, A, B), is eligible for open work permit.

I applied on 23 july 2019 with upfront medical. Biometrics done in previous file. 14 aug, got update of medical passed. No update after that
